Mary Francis Green, 91

Mary Francis Green earned her angel wings on August 18, 2020.

 

She was born on October 29, 1928. She was preceded in death by her parents; Etta and Joseph Weisenbach, husband; Homer Green, and sons; Joseph Beikman and Michael R. Beikman.

 

Mary was raised in Beech Grove, Indiana and started her family there as well. She moved to Shelbyville in 1965 with her then husband, John H. Beikman, and their children.

 

Mary worked as a Nurses’ Aid at Major Hospital in the 1960s while raising her children. She was a member of the Victorious Life Baptist Church in Shelbyville.

 

Mary lived for her family and cherished spending time with them. Mary was an avid artisan who enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and needlepoint. She loved providing handmade gifts to her family during the holidays. Mary was a quick witted and intelligent woman who had a smile that could brighten the room and a laugh that could warm everyone’s heart.

 

Mary is survived by her Sons; John (Crystal) Beikman, and David (Harriet “Fritzie”) Beikman, Daughters; Rosie Kronz, Francie Smith, Kathy (David) Matney, and Daughter in Law Beverly Beikman. She leaves behind a legacy of 12 Grandchildren; Missy (Ronald “Chip”) Delach, Shane (Nicole) Pike, Amber (Andy) Franke, Josh Beikman, Michael Beikman, Seth Beikman, Michelle Bogue, Marcia (Jeff) Boone, Amanda (Dan) Hudnall, Cassie Lux, Angie Lenk, Erin (Jeff) Pipkin, 25 Great Grand Children; Zack and Anna Stagge, Gabbie, Garrett, Kayla, and Hunter Knoll, Makinsi and Kendryk Pike, Tristan, Trinity, Treycia, Trenton, and Tarynn Van Natta, Gwen Beikman, Kylie Beikman ,Zach(Ashley) and Jarod Bogue, Ian Smith, Madalyn and Sophie Hudnall, Lauren Lenk, Haleigh (Adam) Gamberg, Sam, Max, and Alex Pipkin and 5 Great Great Grand Children; Mailee, Carson, Haygon, Mya and Kashton.

 

Viewing for the family will be at 10:00am, friends 11:00am-2:00pm, Friday, August 21, at Murphy Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN.

 

Funeral services will follow at 2:00p.m., at the funeral home with Reverend Maxwell Muska officiating.

 

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
