Johnnie Paul Street, 61, Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021. John was born to Gurney Allen and Mildred (Baker) Street on April 20, 1960 in Elwood, IN, as his family was passing through Michigan to California. John graduated from Purdue University with an Associates Degree in Engineering Technology.

John was employed with KA Components in Castleton for many years, prior to his retirement in February 2006. John enjoyed woodworking, nature, and animals. John and his wife Julia planted well over 100 trees on their property, with well over 50 species. John was a volunteer with Greenfield/Hancock Animal Management for many years. There he rescued numerous dogs.

John is survived by his wife Julia Ann (Donley) Street and their four-legged, rescue dog, Rikki.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gurney Allen Street and Mildred George.

Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, has been honored to serve the Street family during this untimely loss.

In keeping with the wishes of John, cremation will take place, without a public visitation nor service.
