Knox Wilder May, infant, of Shelbyville

Knox Wilder May, infant, of Shelbyville, passed away, Thursday, March 16, 2023 at MHP Medical Center.

He is the son of Stephani May.  Knox is survived by his mother, his sister, Dalyce Sturgill, his brothers, Isaiah Caudill, Blake Caudill, and Jaxon Sturgill, his sister, Oaklynn Sturgill; his grandfather, Travis (wife, Barb) May, his grandmother, Melissa Baker, his great-grandfather, Dan Wilkinson, his aunts, Niki Baker, and Danielle Pickett, his uncle, Travis Earl (wife, Kayla) May, his aunt, Jessica (husband, Troy) Hazelbaker, his uncles, Billy May and Jonathan Purvis, and several cousins.

Knox was preceded in death by his grandmother, Irene Anderson, his grandfather, Richard May, and his great-grandmother, Judy Wilkinson.

“An angel wrote in the book of life my baby’s date of birth, then whispered as she closed the book, ‘Too beautiful for Earth’.

Visitation for Knox will be from Noon to 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN.

Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Jim Stephens officiating.

Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens.

The family request that no children be present during the visitation or services.

Funeral Directors Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, Stuart Parks, and Darin Schutt are honored to serve Knox’s family.
