Triton Central's Morgan selected to All-ICC boys basketball team

Triton Central senior Isaac Morgan has been named All-Conference by the Indiana Crossroads Conference.

Morgan (photo, jersey No. 30) led TC in scoring at 15.6 points per game and also collected 3.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists during a 17-win season.

Morgan was one of 12 players selected to the All-ICC boys basketball squad.

Also honored were Beech Grove’s Jeremiah Alexander (12.6 ppg, 4.2 rpg), Jeremiah Tate (12.3 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 3.4 apg), Cam Brown (9 ppg, 4.7 rpg) and Jaleel Edwards (10 ppg, 2.9 rpg), Indianapolis Ritter’s Mikial Miller (12.7 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 4.3 apg) and Beneiam Smith (13.5 ppg, 4.5 rpg), Indianapolis Lutheran’s L.J. Ward (13.1 ppg, 3.7 apg, 3.7 spg) and Durray Smith (12.2 ppg), Speedway’s Nate Matelic (19 ppg, 5.1 rpg), and Indianapolis Scecina’s Keaton Thibo (15 ppg) and Kaleb Milan (10.9 ppg).

Beech Grove won the ICC title with a perfect 7-0 record. The Hornets finished the season at 17-7.

Lutheran (19-7, 5-2 ICC) and Ritter (11-13, 5-2) were runners-up ahead of Scecina (18-7, 4-3), Triton Central (17-7, 3-4), Cascade (7-17, 2-5), Speedway (4-19, 2-5) and Monrovia (6-18, 0-7).
