Indiana Department of Transportation contractor MAC Construction plans to begin implementing nightly lane closures on I-65 in Shelby and Johnson Counties between Exit 80 (S.R. 252) and Exit 90 (S.R. 44) starting on or after Monday, October 4.

Nightly lane closures will be in place from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday, weather permitting.  Crews will complete pavement patching and rehabilitation under the closures. Work will begin in the southbound lanes of I-65, then move to northbound. The contract is expected to be complete by mid-November.

Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and drive distraction-free in and near construction zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
