James “Aaron” Burch, 53, of Shelbyville passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at MHP Medical Center in Shelbyville.

He was born February 24, 1966, in Logansport, Cass County, Indiana, the son of James L. and Julia Ann (Cox) Burch.

Aaron is survived by his brother, Gerald Burch of Manilla; sister, Sandra Sue Horn of Greenwood; and a large loving family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Aaron graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1984.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Aaron formerly worked at Ryobi.

He enjoyed watching sports and fishing. Aaron loved dogs. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends at Grandma’s Pancake House.

A gathering of friends will be from 2:30 to 3 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Shelbyville Ward, 114 W. Rampart Road in Shelbyville.

The celebration of Aaron’s life will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the church, with Bishop Ray Brewer officiating.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the James “Aaron” Burch Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
