Mary Louise "Mary Lou" (Storie) Weber, 94, Brownsburg, formerly Morristown

Mary Louise “Mary Lou” (Storie) Weber, 94, of Brownsburg, formerly of Morristown passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019 at her home.

 

She was born June 29, 1924 in National City, California, the daughter of Arthur and Hazel (Blatche) Storie. On March 5, 1943, she married Jack P. Weber, who preceded her in death on April 1, 2002.

Mary was the awesomest mother and grandmother to her daughters, Judy Nigh and husband, Mike, and Robin Weber and fiancee’, Steve King, both of Brownsburg, Barbara Kingery and husband, Ken, of Greenfield, and Kathleen Garner and husband, Dan, of Zionsville; sons, Ron Weber and wife, Marilyn, of Prescott, Arizona, and Karl Weber and wife, Linda, of Glen Heights, Texas; grandchildren, Doug Nigh, Matt Nigh, Rhonda Bowers, Cindy DiBenedetto, Greg Weber, Angie Howe, Stephanie Weber, Chris Weber, Jeff Weber, Lee Kingery, Amy Yang, Ryan Kingery, Josh Perry, Nicole Nelson and Ashley Chappelow; and numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to Jack, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Bill Weber; grandsons, Paul Weber and David A. Weber; sisters, Audrey Meredith and Nadine Cole; and brothers, Lawrence Storie and Roscoe Storie.

 

Mary was a 1942 graduate of Hanover High School in Madison.

 

She was devoted to her faith and love of God. Mary attended Gwynneville United Methodist Church, where she played the piano; she also attended Calvary United Methodist Church.

 

Mary had many talents including quilting, crocheting, knitting and cooking. She was a wonderful seamstress and often made her children’s clothes and coats.

 

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.

 

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
