Sharon Louise England, 80, Shelbyville

Sharon Louise England, 80, of Shelbyville passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Aperion Care of Waldron.

 

She was born August 30, 1938, in Fairbury, Nebraska, the daughter of William Bayles and Margaret Louise (Clark) Price. On May 7, 1983, she married Hobert Ray England, and he preceded her in death on September 11, 1991.

 

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Lisa Czamara and husband, Mark, of Tonawanda, New York; step-children, Rick England and wife, Michelle, of Maitland, Florida, Chris England of Deltona, Florida, and Larry England of Westport; Thelma J. Richter and husband, Robert, of New Port Richey, Florida, Beckey England of Orlando, Florida, and Sharon L. England of Sanford, Florida; brother-in-law, James Flynn of N. Tonawanda, New York; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

 

In addition to Hobert, Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; son, Matthew William; and sister, Susan Flynn.

 

Sharon graduated in 1956 from Kenmore West High School in Kenmore, New York. After high school, she attended a culinary school.

 

She was a 28 year member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, where she was a member of the Senior Saints. Sharon stated the most influential people in her life were Pastor George Mitchell and his wife, Dorie.

 

Sharon enjoyed knitting and made afghans for most of the newborns at church. She also enjoyed reading and participating in the card ministry. The time Sharon got to spend with her grandchildren and nieces and nephews was very precious to her.

 

Visitation will be from 10 to noon, Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 7414 E. Michigan Road, Waldron, Indiana.

 

Funeral services will be at noon on Wednesday at the church, with Pastor George Mitchell officiating.

 

Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.

 

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Senior Saints or Shelbyville-Shelby County Animal Shelter 705 Hale Road, Shelbyville, Indiana 46176.
