Christine Kaye "Chrissy" (Wagner) Taylor, age 50, Fountaintown

Christine Kaye “Chrissy” (Wagner) Taylor, age 50, of Fountaintown, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019. She was born in Beech Grove on January 6, 1969 to Gilbert E. and Lois A. (Spangler) Wagner. Chrissy graduated from New Palestine High School in 1987. She married Frank William Taylor on August 13, 2005 at Carrollton United Methodist Church.

She currently worked for Loyal Manufacturing in Indianapolis as the office and shipping manager for over 20 years. Chrissy was a lifetime member of Carrollton United Methodist Church. She loved animals, especially her dogs, Belle, Butch, Oreo, and Diesel, and her cat, Angelica Kaye. She cherished spending time with her family and loved her two sons so much. She always enjoyed wood working with her dad in his barn and baking with her mom and sister. They always baked dozens of cookies each Christmas. Chrissy also enjoyed reading, watching mysteries, traveling, and visiting Frank’s hometown, Philadelphia.

Chrissy is survived by her husband, Frank Taylor of Fountaintown; parents, Gib and Lois Wagner of Fountaintown; sons, Ryan (Olivia Conder) Wagner and Vyncent Vanest both of Fountaintown; sister, Cathy (Roger) Higham of Fountaintown; aunts and uncles, Ron & Shirley Spangler of Greenwood, Fred & Mary Wagner of Indianapolis, and Nancy & Jack Simpson of Indianapolis; and several nieces, nephews, and one great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Luther & Margaret Spangler and Lowell & Ethel Wagner; and uncle, Bob Wagner.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 28, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Pastor Chris Dourson will be officiating. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery in New Palestine.
