Ezra P. Cradic, 86, Boggstown

Ezra P. Cradic, 86, of Boggstown, passed away Monday, October 28, 2019 at his residence.


Born September 26,1933 in Hawkins County Tennessee, he was the son of Rosen Blanchard Cradic and Molly Charlotte (McClain) Cradic. He married Elizabeth Ann (Purcell) Cradic on November 27,1957 and she survives.
Other survivors include children Kimberly Ann Arnold (husband Karl) of New Palestine; Kevin P.
Cradic (wife Sandra) of Shelbyville; Kristi S. Buis (husband Larry) of Fairland; Kara L. Cradic
(fiancé Chris) of Boggstown; brother Donald Cradic (wife Patsy) of Church Hill, Tennessee; Ulysses Cradic (wife Jeanie) of Tennessee; sister Ruth Ramey of Martinsville; grandchildren Lindsey Rush (husband Ryan), Robert N. Arnold, Kelly Cradic, Courtney E. Allen, Spencer E. Ayers, Keiara M. Lewis, Peyton M. Buis; great grandchildren Kalyn Dant, Logan Hosford, Khloe Hosford , Nicholas Rush, Bradon Chasteen, Brooklyn Allen, Carlee Allen and Bailey Allen; great great grandchildren Charlotte & Molly Allen.

 

He was preceded  in death by his parents, brothers Everett Cradic, Doyle Cradic, sister Lois Caldwell and brother-in-law Jack Ramey.

 

Mr. Cradic had lived in this area for many years after moving from  Indianapolis. He attended
Triton Central High School and was a member of Boggstown Presbyterian Church. He was employed with Navistar of Indianapolis in the engine plant for 30+ years, retiring in 2003, and Cradic Heating & Air Condition for several years.

 

He  was a Past Master of Sugar Creek Lodge, a member of Scottish Rite, York Rite, Murat Shrine since 1972, Eastern Star, Knights Templar, Hoosier Model A Club and a board member of Joseph Boggs Society.

 

Ezra enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening, horses, time spent around the farm, and spending time with
his family and grandchildren.

 

Funeral service will be 1:00 pm on Friday, November 1, 2019 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Donald Cradic officiating. Burial will be in Boggstown Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be observed on Friday afternoon, November 1, 2019, from 11:00am until the time of the service.  Masonic Rites will be conducted at 12:45 pm.
