Dean Allen Fair, 62, of Shelbyville passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 at his home.

He was born February 6, 1958, in Shelbyville, the son of Karlene Bausback. On December 22, 1989, he married his wife of 30 years, Teresa Ramsey, and she survives.

In addition to Teresa, Dean is survived by his mother of Greensburg; daughters, Donita Fair of Shelbvyille, Becky Brewer of Homer, and Alishia Daugherty of Rushville; son, Nick Daugherty of Rushville; sisters, Denise Lockwood of Pleasant View, Dorene Greiwe of Greensburg, and Jeri Fair Nicholson of Atlanta, Georgia; brothers, Dwain Synder of Waldron, and Dennis Snyder of Greencastle; grandchildren, Josalynn Fair-Lowe, Brandon Jones, Logan Jones, Kerstyn Carpenter, Alexis Pike and husband, Aaron, and Nicholas Daugherty; great-grandchildren, Aubree Pike and Asher Pike; mother-in-law, Margaret Ramsey of Rushville; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thelma and Carl Bausback; brother, Darrell Fair; and father-in-law, Alva Ramsey.

Dean was a 1976 graduate of Greenfield Central High School.

He recapped tires for Good Year and Central Indiana Tire.

Dean enjoyed working on cars, watching the History and Discovery channels and working crossword puzzles.

He loved his family and enjoyed the time he spent with them.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2020 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Andy Lee officiating.

Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
