Charles ‘Rick’ Huesman, 59, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital.

He was born July 27, 1960 in Shelbyville to Henry Huesman and Maude (Adams) Huesman.

Rick is survived by his sister, Mary Ann Huesman of Greenwood, his brothers, Walter Huesman of Vermont, Bob Huesman of Shelbyville, Mike Huesman of Grandforks, North Dakota, and Victor Huesman of Shelbyville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Henry Huesman, Jr., Tom Huesman and Pete Huesman.

Rick was a mechanic.  He was one of the original founding members of the Dry Dock Club.  He was a friend of Bill W. for 17 years.  Rick was very active in the recovery community.  He enjoyed camping, cooking and working around the house.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Dry Dock Clubhouse at a later date with his burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Rick’s family.
