Bronda Lynn Vierling, 59, of Shelbyville passed over Saturday, June 27, 2020 at her home, surrounded by family and close friends.
She was born August 26, 1960, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Wayne Eck and Ruth (Weintraut) Pollard. On November 3, 1995, she married James “Jim” Vierling, and he survives.
In addition to Jim, Bronda is survived by her father, Wayne Eck of Greenfield; mother, Ruth Pollard and husband, Bill, of Versailles; children, Jennifer Jones and husband, Matt, of Shelbyville, Deanna Hensley and husband, Keaton, of Indianapolis, Brandi Vierling of Indianapolis, Ryan Vierling and wife, Katelyn of Shelbyville, and Austin Vierling of Fairborn, Ohio; brother, Brian Eck and wife, Cheryl, of Rushville; sister, Beth Sexton of Plainfield; ten grandchildren; father-in-law, William Vierling of Fort Pierce, Florida; and many special friends including Suzan Baughman, Ashley Martin, Shirley Pence, Dru Presti and Shelly Higdon.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Belinda Eck and mother-in-law, Margaret Vierling.
Bronda attended North Decatur High School and graduated in 1978 from Waldron High School.
She attended The Creek Church in Franklin, as a child she was baptized at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Shelbyville.
Bronda was the Administrative Assistant for the Shelbyville Water Resource Recovery Facility for 28 years, where she enjoyed being with her work family.
She enjoyed reading, crocheting and knitting. She also enjoyed vacationing on the beach.
Bronda cherished the time she spent with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
Private funeral services will be conducted.
