Michael A. Smith ‘Mikey’, 38, of Cloverdale, passed away Monday, August 10, 2020 in Shelbyville.

He was born March 29, 1982 in Shelbyville, to Garnet Smith, Jr. and Linda (Schoolcraft) Smith.

Mikey is survived by his daughter, Annison Smith, his son, Daton Smith, his sister, Marianne Smith, his step-grandpa, Frank Russell, his nephews and nieces, Devon Smith, Destiny Walker, Kristian Wetter, Taylor Wetter, Justin Wetter (wife, Lenzie), Timothy Wetter, Jr., Maci Wetter, and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Wetter, Sr., his uncles, Steven Schoolcraft and Ernest Smith, his grandma, Lois Russell, and his grandparents, Garnet and Delcie Smith.

Mikey attended Shelbyville High School and received his GED.  He was employed as a mechanic.

Mikey was a member of the Freemason Lodge 132 in Cloverdale.  He enjoyed working on his cars, playing guitar, listening to music, and riding his motorcycle.  His greatest joy was spending time with his kids and his family.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Miller Cemetery.
