Ruth Ann Waller, 71, of Shelbyville passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at Timbercreek Assisted Living Center in Shelbyville.

She was born January 11, 1949, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Richard Foster and Elsie (Mackey) Richeson. She married, Jerry Waller, and he preceded her in death on September 12, 2018.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Tina Crafton and husband, Daniel, of Shelbyville; son, Bradley Rigdon and wife, Michaela, of North Vernon; sisters, Mary McKinney, Molly Richardson and husband, Charlie, and Jean Walton and husband, Tom, all of Shelbyville; brothers, Richard Foster Jr. and wife, Diana, of Greenwood, and Steve Richeson and wife, Jennifer, of Florida; grandchildren, Jordan Bartlett and wife, Amanda, Seth Moore, Angelina Garcia, Sierra Rigdon and Myla Rigdon; great-grandchildren, Jordan Bartlett Jr. and Mia Bartlett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to Jerry, Ruth was preceded in death by her parents.

Ruth graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1967.

She was a member of the Flat Rock Christian Church.

Ruth formerly worked at Kentucky 4-H Leadership Center.

She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and growing plants and flowers.

Private graveside services will be Friday, August 28, 2020, at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
