Margaret P. Young, of Greenfield, Indiana passed away peacefully on August 31, 2020.

She was born on March 7, 1927 to Robert and Jean (Patterson) Pont in Flint, Michigan.

Margaret is proceeded in death by her parents, listed above, her husband Gilbert Pont and her sister Betty Dryer.

She is survived by 2 nephews; David (Janice) Dryer and James (Julie) Dryer; niece, Karen (Steve) Welsh; 2 great nieces, Jill (Aaron) Cody and Kyla Dryer, a great nephew, Richard (Rachel) Welsh and 5 great-great nephews.

Margaret graduated from Flint High School in Flint, Michigan and worked in management for the IRS where she retired from in 1984.

Margaret was a member of The Red Hat Society and ran investment clubs. She was vibrant and full of life. Margaret could light up any room with her smile and laughter. She was fun loving and free spirited. Margaret fearlessly traveled to different states to make new beginnings; moving for reasons such as work and love. She will be greatly missed but her memories are a treasure for those that had the pleasure of knowing her.
