Cody Alan Boyer, 25, of Shelbyville, died Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born July 21, 1995 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Bobby Alan Boyer and Amy Victoria Bell. 

Survivors include: mother Amy (Brad Stauffer) Bell of Shelbyville; father, Bobby (Cynthia) Boyer also of Shelbyville; grandparents Anthony Ray Bell of Rushville; Claudia King of Rushville; and 1 brother - Weston Dale Boyer of Shelbyville.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Katheryne Stonebraker and grandfather, Ron Boyer.

Mr. Boyer was a lifelong resident of Shelbyville and graduated from Shelbyville High School in 2014. 

He attended Crossroad Community Church. Cody was an avid Golden State Warriors fan, he loved to play basketball at the local gyms. 

He was an inspiration to anyone he came into contact with. 

Funeral services will be Thursday, September 24, 2020  at 1:00 pm at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor. Andy Lee officiating.

Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10am - 1pm on Thursday prior to the service.
