Nancy Jane Kreienbrink, 82

Nancy Jane Kreienbrink, 82, passed away February 12, 2021 next to her loving husband. Nancy was born on September 11, 1938 in Cold Water, MI to the late Henry and Gladys (Calhoun) Blain. She attended high school in Bronson, MI, where, while cheerleading, she met her husband Richard Lee Kreienbrink, a basketball player. She married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life in 1958 and moved to Indiana in 1960.

As a child, Nancy enjoyed roller skating and being outdoors. She stayed very fit and active her entire life and enjoyed working-out, doing yoga and pilates, walking in mini-marathons, and playing bocce ball with her husband and friends. She loved to read, complete jigsaw puzzles, make crafts of all sorts, quilt, and knit. Although Nancy was petite and kind, her family and friends knew her as a fierce and fiery competitor when it came to boardgames and a few Christmas exchanges.

Nancy was a family woman and often spent her weekends watching the grandchildren partake in their sports and having lunch while out shopping with her daughter. Nancy was also a businesswoman, working as a beautician while her children were young and then working in the banking industry for many years before retiring from PNC Bank.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Richard Lee Kreienbrink; her children: Scott Kreienbrink and Michelle (David) Moline; grandchildren: Taylor, Richard, Brian, Kristin, Kiley, and Nichole; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and loving sister, Phyllis (Robert) Tucker.

Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Greenfield, has been honored to assist Nancy and her family during this great loss. All services will be private to her family and she will be laid to rest in Michigan. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to a Cancer Foundation of your choice.
