Katherine J. George, age 69, of Greenfield passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 19, 1951 in Louisville, KY to the late Lonard W. and Anita C. (Luckett) Peerce.

Katherine enjoyed playing bingo and visiting the casinos, but above all else, her family was most important. Prior to retiring, Katherine was a waitress and trainer for Bob Evans Restaurants.

She is survived by her life partner of 23 years, Joseph Street; children, Michael Gray, Paula (Herschel) Miers, Stormi (Crystal) Hunt, and Joseph (Thea) Street; siblings, Judy Bouey, Linda Portman, Joe Peerce, and Tony Peerce; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents mentioned above.

Friends may call 4:00 – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral Service 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 18 at the funeral home with calling from Noon until the time of service. Burial immediately following at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
