Gary D. Ferrell, 62, Maxwell

Gary D. Ferrell, 62, Maxwell, IN, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021. He was also affectionately known as Fuzzy to many, including his nieces and nephews. Gary was born on September 21, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN to Homer R. and Myrtle S. (Davis) Ferrell.

Gary was a tremendously talented carpenter and worked not only for Service Drywall in Indianapolis for 20 years, but also loved to remodel and build things around his own house. He loved to fish and camp as well as relax in the outdoors and nature. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He attended Bethel Baptist Church in Greenfield. He was also a huge Harley Davidson fan. He married Carolyn Sue Larmore.

Gary is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Sue Ferrell; children: Jason Wilder (Sara), Nicki (Josh) Waterman, and Christi (Wes) Evans; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 8 siblings: Charlotte, Sharon, Lisa, Donna, Bobby, Steve, Danny, and Billy; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Homer R. Ferrell; mother, Myrtle Sue Moon; and sister, Virginia.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN, with the funeral service immediately following. Burial will take place in Park Cemetery, Greenfield, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ferrell Family via our website to offset funeral expenses.
