Jimmy Dean Wilson, 61, of Fairland, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital and Health Center.
Born September 29, 1959 in Norwood Ohio, he was the son of Keith E. Wilson and Martha V. (Hughes) Wilson.
Survivors include his significant other Vanessa (Palmer) Wilson of Fairland; son Brandon
Keith Wilson of Fairland; granddaughter- Charley G. Wilson of Fairland; Aunt Molene
Hughes of Kentucky; and cousins- Nikki S. Orr, James A. Waggoner, Allen Stevens,
Darrell Stevens, David Passmore, Debbie Passmore, Anthony Hughes, Nathan Hughes,
and Rayna Hughes. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Wilson was a certified welder with Continental Products and Lansing Camp. He also
provided masonry work for new home construction for 5 years. He graduated from Triton
Central High School and was a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodges, and a union painter
with Local #47 for 30 years.
Jimmy loved George Jones music, and played guitar and bass guitar in several local bands including- Jack Brothers Band, Southern Crossfire Band, and Red Star Band of Brothers.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church, 4666 N.
Michigan Road, with Pastor Billy Cloud officiating. Burial will be in Fairland Cemetery. Friends
may call at the church on Friday afternoon from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday at 4:00 pm at the Fairland Fire Department, everyone is
welcome.
