Tony Lewis passed away on April 15 at his home in Clarksville, Indiana at the age of 72.

He was a former resident of Shelbyville.

He was born December 28, 1948 to Roy W. and Bette I. (Coulter) Lewis, they both preceded him in death.

Tony is survived by his 3 children, Anthony Lewis of Cincinnati, Ohio; Tona Sanchez of Wichita, Kansas; and Jeff (Stacy) Lewis of Shelbyville, Indiana. He is also survived by his sister, Donna Inman, of Bedford, Indiana; brother Ricky Lewis of Williams, Indiana; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Tony was a Vietnam veteran who served in the United States Air Force for 14 years, ending his military career in 1986.

Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Tony liked him right away. He was known for his fun loving, joking personality. Most who know him have a great story or joke to pass on from their visits with him. Tony will be missed dearly.

His family will be holding a Celebration of Life in the pavilion at the Bedford Boat Club in Bedford, Indiana on June 19 at 1:00 P.M.
