David B. Dennis, 62, of Indianapolis, formerly of Morgantown, passed away June 21. 2021 at Decatur Morgan Hospital in Decatur, Alabama.

Born June 16, 1959 in Canton, Ohio, he was the son of Charles K. Dennis and Ann E.
(Cornish) Dennis.  He married Rita S. (Nasby) Dennis  on May 26, 1990 and she survives.

Other survivors include 2 daughters- Lea Stall (husband Andrew) of Hartselle, Alabama, Allison (husband Dusty) Toffolo of  Indianapolis; a brother Richard Dennis (wife Cathy) of Richmond, Virginia; a granddaughter - Carolynn Stall of Hartselle, 2 grandsons- Benjamin Stall of Hartselle, Jacob Shoemaker of Indianapolis.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Dennis was a resident of the Morgantown area for 29 years, and Indianapolis for the past year.
 

He had been an engineer with Brehob Corp. for 37 years. He was a member of New Life Community Church in Nashville Indiana, was secretary of the Morgantown Conservation Club, and a life member of the NRA.

Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, working with computers, and playing Angry Birds.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on  Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Waldron Baptist Church, 112 E. Grant St., Waldron, with Pastor Tim Conboy officiating. 

Burial will be in Van Pelt Cemetery. 

Friends may call on Saturday morning, at the church, from 11:00 am until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Operation Underground Railroad, in care of the funeral home.
