Dennis Lee Cory, 66, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021 

at his residence.

Born March 16, 1955 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Dennis W. Cory and

Jennie (Talbert) Cory.  He married Debbie (Beyers) Cory on July 16, 1977

and she survives.

Other survivors include a son Justin Dennis Cory (wife Ashley) of Shelbyville,

daughter Megan Brooke Cory (significant other Christian Leffler) of Shelbyville;

6 sisters- SaVonna Croxton (husband Mark) of Shelbyville, Margretta Cole

(husband Kent) of Shelbyville, Tinna Kirkham of New Palestine, Tammie Cory

of Morristown, Joy Clark (husband Brian) of New Palestine, Melissa Seifert 

(husband Joe) of Morristown; and one granddaughter Chloe Lane Cory.  He

was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Cory was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Morristown 

High School in 1973.  He was employed as supervisor/manager for over 40 

years at Crystal Flash/Circle K in Shelbyville.  He was a member of Fairview

United Methodist Church.

Dennis loved his dog Maddie, who was his best friend, camping, riding his

Harley, and spending time with his family and granddaughter Chloe.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Glenn E. George

& Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Colin  Cress

officiating. 

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. 

Friends may call on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
