Patsy Winkler / Monschein, 90, of Fairland

Patsy Winkler/ Monschein, 90, of Fairland, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021.

She was born September, 22, 1930 to Carl and Edith (Kling) Mays.

Patsy attended St. Joseph Catholic Church.  She loved to play poker and was also involved in a poker club with other ladies.  Patsy enjoyed the times she was able to go to Las Vegas.  She loved spending time with her family, especially when they were able to sit around and play cards together.  Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very special to her and she cherished the times spent with them.

Patsy is survived by her sons, Norman (Susie) Winkler and Todd Winkler; daughter, Shevin (Sam) Schaf; grandchildren, Norman (Karla) Winkler, Lori (Bobby) Stieneker, Melissa (Owen) Winkler- York, Josh Winkler, Tim ( Paula) Oltman, Eric (Stephanie) Kendall, Scott (Gina) Schaf, Stephen (Jill) Schaf; 18 great-grandchildren; and sister, Beverly O’Neal. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; late husband, Norman Winkler; son, Kim (his wife, Christy) Winkler; grandson, Kimothy R. Winkler; daughter, Letitia “Tish” Winkler; and two brothers, Bobby and Richardo Mays.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 125 E. Broadway St., with Father Mike Keucher officiating. 

Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Funeral Directors Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Patsy’s family.
