Betty Lou Schultz, age 91, formerly of Greenfield

Betty Lou Schultz, age 91, formerly of Greenfield passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Greenbriar Village in Indianapolis.

She was born May 5, 1930, in Sanborn, Indiana to the late William H. and Sarah (Chestnut) Plummer. After attending Loogootee, Indiana Schools Betty was a waitress in her mother’s restaurant, Odon Restaurant and Snack bar in Oden, Indiana. She married Virgil W.R. Schultz in 1953.
Betty was a longtime member of Burns City United Methodist Church, an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion and VFW. Prior to her retirement in 1980 she was employed by Smitherman Hatchery and Mitchell Fleming Printing. Betty enjoyed country music and loved to watch local artists perform.
Betty is survived by her sons, Jim (Mary) Farmer and Tim (Susan) Schultz; grandchildren, Erika (Jason) Matthews, Angi (John) Suddeth, Adam (Ashley) Schultz, Autumn Farmer, Bill and Phil Farmer, Scott Farmer, Jamie (Doug) Burns, and David Farmer; 22 great grandchildren and 24 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above; husband Virgil in 1996; son, William Farmer; brothers, Garland, JD, and Junior Plummer; and sisters, Autumn Harmon, Margie Clark, and Nancy McIntire.
Calling will be 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street Greenfield, Indiana.

Funeral Service at 7:00 PM.

Burial 11:00 AM, Thursday Burns City Cemetery, Burns City, Indiana.
