Brian F. Kelly, 74, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021, at Majestic Care of Southport in Indianapolis.

Born September 16, 1947 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of Charlotte R. Kelly. On May 7, 1977 he married Helen E. (Cook) Kelly and she survives.

Other survivors include wife Helen, and son Brian P. Kelly of Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by his mother. 

Mr. Kelly  had lived in this area since 1987 after moving from Pittsburgh. He worked as a security guard for many years at Naval Avionics/Raytheon in Indianapolis before his retirement. He was a US Army veteran.

Brian graduated from Schenley High School in Pittsburgh and was a member of the Knights of Columbus there. 

He enjoyed fishing, camping, and was a practical jokester. 

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, Shelbyville .

Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11:00 am until time of service. Graveside military rites will be observed.
