Ann D. Finkel, 59, of Greenfield, formerly of Indianapolis

Ann D. Finkel, 59, of Greenfield, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born June 11, 1962, in Burbank, California, the daughter of David Paul and Dione (Polakoff) Tisius. On June 23, 1984, she married her husband of 37 years, Kenneth D. Finkel, and he survives.

In addition to Ken, Ann is survived by her daughters, Jessica A. Minor and husband, Donald, of Noblesville, and Sally E. Finkel and fiance’, Adam Reddigari, of Lafayette; granddaughter, Caroline Minor; and several nieces and nephews.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Daniel Tisius and Jon Tisius.

She graduated in 1980 from West High School in Torrance, California, and continued her education receiving her bachelors degree from Indiana University in 1984.

Ann was a member of the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation and IHC Sisterhood, where she volunteered in the gift shop and visiting the sick. She also volunteered in many capacities at Lawrence Township Schools.

She was the owner of Blue River Supply LLC. Ann had previously worked at Crestview Elementary, SMC Pneumatics and Woods Wire Products.

Ann enjoyed reading books, watching movies and traveling. She also enjoyed going to the Indianapolis Colts, and Indiana Pacers and Fever games.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, December 20, 2021, at the funeral home.

Interment will be at 1 p.m. Monday, at the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation Cemetery, 1300 E. 161st St., Westfield, Indiana.
