Richard Allen "Fuz" Huber, 82, of Manilla

Richard Allen "Fuz" Huber, 82, of Manilla, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at MHP Medical Center in Shelbyville.

He was born April 14, 1939, in Indianapolis, the son of Harold Huber and Virginia (Clifton) Stewart.

Richard is survived by his sons, Grant Huber of Fairland, and Michael Huber and wife, Beth, of Laurel; daughter, Kira Huber of Hitchcock, Texas; brother, John Stewart and wife, Judy, of Indianapolis; sisters, Kathleen Vahle and husband, Ron, of Phoenix, Arizona, and Edellen Winbun and husband, Dick, of Lafayette; grandchildren, Tyler Hepfer, Branson Huber and Sutton Huber; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Richard retired from IBEW Local No. 481, in 2000.

He was a member of FLE Brothers.

Richard enjoyed pestering people, being loud, working on projects and going to auctions.

He loved to spend time with his grandchildren. Most of all, he was the kind of Daddy and Papaw that loved and supported his kiddos and grandchildren no matter what. He was always the family's center and will be remembered for his undying dedication to his family and friends.

A gathering of friends will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

A Celebration of Richard’s life will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
