Diana Sue Hansen-Brattain, 70, of St. Paul, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at her residence.

Born July 4, 1951 in Greensburg, she was the daughter of Jerry Brattain and Gelena (Guyne) Brattain.  She  married Don Hansen on August 19, 1978 and he passed away in 2003.

Survivors include 2 sons- Don "DC" Hansen (wife Nicole), Anthony Hansen (wife Kelli); a brother Fred Brattain  (wife Cyni), 2 sisters- Theresa Shutters, Marana Adams (husband Kyle); 5 grandchildren- Kaylee Hansen, Elizabeth Hansen, Samuel Hansen, Benjamin Hansen, Andrew Hansen; and many loved nieces and nephews, and  grand nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her spouse.

Mrs. Hansen-Brattain was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from North Decatur High School in 1969.

She was a master chef for many years and also taught culinary arts in Bartholomew County Schools for 15 years.

She was past president of American Culinary Federation, Indianapolis Chapter, and also a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for many years.

Diana enjoyed traveling, cruising, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home 437 Amos Road, with Pastor George Mitchell officiating. 

Burial will be in Paul Hill Cemetery. 

Friends may call on Saturday morning from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
