Kathy Diane Knight, 62, of St. Paul, passed away February 3, 2022  at her residence.

Born October 4, 1958 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of William Robert Knight

and Hazel Mae (Purtlebaugh) Knight.

Survivors include 6 siblings- Charles Robert Knight of Connecticut, Terry J. Knight 

(wife Brenda) of Shelbyville, Gary Dennis Knight of Shelbyville, Brenda Day of Shelbyville, Linda S. Conover of Shelbyville, Debra Tracy (husband Neil) of Morristown; several nieces and nephews; and 4 of her dog "kids"- Bernadette, Jasper, Ike, & Chip, and her cat Hazelnut.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Ms. Knight was a lifelong resident of this area, and worked as an LPN at several area nursing homes, for 38 years.  She attended Shelbyville High School and Ivy Tech Nursing School in Columbus.

Kathy loved her dogs and cat, and was always willing to help a family member, friend, or neighbor.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Brian Justice officiating.  Burial will be in Miller Cemetery. 

Friends may call on Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions can be made to Shelby County Cancer Association, or Shelbyville/Shelby Co. Animal Shelter, in care of the funeral home.
