Charlotte C. Price, of Greenwood, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Aurora, the daughter of Jess and Marie (Blair) Snow. On August 4, 1956 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, she married John Price, and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2013.
Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Ann Price of Indianapolis; sons, Thomas Price and wife, Ronnett, of San Manuel, Arizona, and Anthony “Tony” Price and wife, Jennifer, of Easton, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Ashley (Brian), Sam, Alex, Adam (Micah) and Chloe; great-grandchildren, Lyla, Aspen and Clementine; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to John, Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Norma Garrett; and brother, Earl Snow.
Charlotte graduated from St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing and attended Indiana University for two years.
She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Beech Grove.
Charlotte retired in 2004, from Meadowood Retirement Community in Bloomington, with a combined 45 years in nursing. During her career, she was also the Director of Nursing for Marion County Health Care Center for 14 years.
She enjoyed decorating, interior design and gardening.
Charlotte loved animals and leaves behind her dog, Mikey.
She loved to spend time with family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, August 1, 2022, at Holy Name Catholic Church, 89 N. 17th St., Beech Grove, Indiana 46107, friends and family may gather one-half hour prior to the Mass.
Inurnment will be at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Shelbyville.
Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospital South Oncology Unit or Dr. Pablo Bedona.
