Gaylon Ray McDonald, 62, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 at his residence.

He was born March 12, 1960 in Shelby County to Norman McDonald and Wilma (Meltzer) McDonald .

Gaylon was a factory worker for many years.  His favorite hobby was wood working.  He had a talent for crafting a variety of items from cabinets to plaques.

He was a loving husband and devoted father.  He will be greatly missed by his wife of 25 years, Patricia Lynn (Cameron) McDonald, his son, Joshua McDonald, his daughter, Bridgett McDonald, his 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and step-son, Christopher Forman.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
