Paula J. Bullard, 70, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, November 1, 2022 at her residence.

She was born December 27, 1951 in Shelbyville to Paul Sweet and Jackie (Hill) Kelly.

Paula graduated from Waldron High School in 1971.

Paula was a homemaker and had a caring heart. She was always looking out for others and would always give anyone the shirt off her back. She was very crafty and loved to work with flowers. She also had a passion for singing, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

She married Paul Bullard on April 20, 1974 and he preceded her in death on March 21, 2016.

Paula is survived by her daughter, Shannon Rogian, her grandson, Matthew Rogian, and her sisters, Vicki Fletcher, and Peggy Jo Bowers (husband, Danny), step-sisters, Peggy Lane (husband, Dean), Lori Brooks and Kathy Cox (husband, Glenn), and step-brother Mike Kelly. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two step-brothers Steve and Bobby Singletonn.

On her husband, Paul’s side, Paula is survived by her sisters-in-law, Lettie Paton, and Tess Williams, brother-in-law, Garry Bullard, nieces, Heather Culbreath, Dorothy Morton, Lani (Robert) Tielking, and Gorgenia (Cary) Ralph, and nephews, Pete (Kelly) Paton, Joshua (Rachel) Fischer, and Brad (Amanda) Fischer. They were preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Neal Bullard, and Donald Paton, one sister-in-law, Judy Kay Wilkinson, and a niece, Margie Gearhart.

Paula will be greatly missed by her large family and many friends.

A celebration of life is being planned and will be announced soon.
