Deborah  "Debbie" Mae Shugert McGeath, 59, of North Richland Hills, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 6, 2022. 

Debbie was born on June 4, 1963 to Ora L. "Sonny" and Patricia Mae Martin Shugert in Lafayette, Indiana.  After Debbie graduated from Waldron High School in 1981 she
went on to a 36 year career with American Airlines, retiring in 2020.

Debbie was preceded in death by her mother, and former mother-in-law Kennita "Kenny" McGeath, and her second mom, Angie. She is survived by her son Alexander McGeath, her sisters Kathy (Jeff) Mitchell, Susie (Doug) Gardner, brother Lee (Dianna) Ruse, nephews Matt (Bekha) Gardner, David Gardner, Sam (Madeline) Mitchell, niece Amye Mitchell, former father-in-law Bruce McGeath, and her beloved dog, Sadie.

Debbie's passions were traveling, scrapbooking, gardening, antiquing, and spending time with family and her many friends.  But her greatest joy was her son, Alex.  Her sense of humor and quick wit always brought a smile to those around her.

Funeral services will be 6:00 pm on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Lewis Creek Baptist Church, 1400 E. 600 S., Waldron, Indiana.   Friends may call at on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 pm until the time of the service, at the church.
