Elissa "Lisa" Kay (Sims) Frydenberg, 63, of Indianapolis, passed away at her residence November 3, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 14, 1959 in Culver City, California to the late Jim and Goldie Sims. She graduated high school in Cerritos, California.

A loving mother and grandmother, she was a social worker at the Children’s Guardian Home and a member of Church 52 for several years, both in Indianapolis. Elissa enjoyed showing horses and was a champion barrel racer. She also collected Native American artifacts.

She is survived by her son, Adam (Helen) Sims; six grandchildren, Brice, Jayden, Adam Jr., Miranda, Cassie, and Kymia; brothers, Donnie Cue, Michael and Jody Collins; sisters, Kim Collins, Candy Collins, and Mary Stonecipher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Monica Parlier.

Funeral services for Elissa will be held Friday, November 11, 2022 at 6pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home - Hendryx Cumberland Chapel, 11636 E Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229.

Friends may visit, the day of the services from 5pm – 6pm.
