Maudie “Jane” Polston, age 82, of Greenfield, passed away December 1, 2022, at Hancock Health, Greenfield.
She was born June 18, 1940, in Parkers Lake, Kentucky to the late L. Claude and Gracie L. (Corder) Davis. Jane married Richard Polston on August 15, 1959.
Jane and Richard made their home and raised their family in Hancock County. Prior to retiring, Jane was a clerk for Kroger in Greenfield.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard; sons, Wayne (Lil) Polston, and Craig (Deb) Polston; grandchildren, Megan (Anthony Whiteside) Polston, and Jeremy (Kendall) Polston.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents, listed above; and brothers, Paul, Claude, and Burton Davis; and sisters, Maxine Davis, Geneva Brown, Nellie Cash, and Gail Nevels.
Funeral service will be 3:00 pm, Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140 with Pastor Bobbie Dale Jewel officiating. Friends may call from Noon until the time of service. Burial immediately following at Park cemetery, Greenfield.
