Derek (Bubby) Evan Conley, age 28 went to his heavenly home on Monday, March 6, 2023.

He lived a beautiful life and was loved by many. With an infectious smile and a hug for all, Derek spread love wherever he went. Derek embodied love and his enthusiasm for life was contagious. Derek loved his family and friends and supported them unconditionally. One of his favorite destinations was Colorado where he enjoyed skiing, snowmobiling and making great memories. He was a big sports fan and an avid golfer, wagering and winning tournaments. His love of country music and singing his heart out are memories we all share.

Derek was born on June 3, 1994, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Greenfield Central High School in 2013. He was employed by Associated Drywall Partners most recently working in Florida. He loved his job and was proud of the work he was doing.

A bright light has left our family. Derek is survived by his loving mother and step-dad, Ellen (Willard) and Butch Miller; his dad, Ronald Conley; his older brother, Jordan Conley; his half-brother and sister, Raegan Cockrell Conley, Eli Conley and step brother Craig Miller; his loving grandmother, Beth Willard; his grandfather, Brad Conley; grandmother, Patricia Hubbard; aunts and uncles include Kristin (Willard) Ely (Kenny), Bruce Willard (Jennie), Aaron Willard, Jennifer Jehn, Bradley Conley (Kimberly); cousins include Josh Willard (Hannah and sweet Blaire), Jake Willard, Luke Ely, Eric Ely, Zach Willard, Boston Willard, Brody Willard, Kayla Swift, Elizabeth Conley, Josh Stephens, and Alicia Stephens; his extended family Dale and Elisha Parsley and brothers Alec and Hunter; great uncles, Dave (Terri) Willard and Dwight Willard, great aunts, Barbara Drudge, and Debbie (Mike) Watson; and many cousins.

Derek was preceded in death by his grandfather, Don Willard; great aunt Linda Willard; and grandparents Coy Hubbard and Joyce Conley.

Services will be 7:00 pm, Friday, March 10, 2023, at Brandywine Community Church, 1551 E. New Road, Greenfield, Indiana 46140 with pastor Paul Galbraith officiating.
