Violet Rose Kreider, 14, of Shelbyville

Violet Rose Kreider, 14, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at her residence.

 

She was born December 20, 2008 to Zachary Kreider and Janna (Jordan) Kreider.

 

Violet was an 8th grade student at Shelbyville Middle School. She was a member of both the Drama Club and Art Club.  Violet was extremely creative and loved to express herself through her artwork.  She also enjoyed writing, especially scary stories.  Her imagination was always flourishing and her loving personality was infectious.

 

Violet loved to do ballet and she loved her cats very much.

 

Violet is survived by her parents, her brother, Tyler Kreider, her sister, Angelique “Angel” Kreider, her brother, Jonah Kreider, her maternal grandparents, Kathy and Richard Jordan, her paternal grandmother, Marcee May-Miller, her aunts, Julie Jordan, Jamie Schmit, and Gina Dewell, and several cousins.

 

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Richard Kreider.

 

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m, Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN.

 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Hope Baptist Church, 15593 US 50, Dillsboro, IN with Pastor Tom Holt officiating.

 

Burial will be in Craven Cemetery in Milan, IN.

 

Violet’s family would like to invite all family and friends to wear her favorite colors (Green or Purple) while attending the visitation or service.

 

Memorial contributions in memory of Violet may be made to the Shelbyville Animal Shelter, 705 Hale Road, Shelbyville, IN 46176 for their animal outreach program.
