Marlene A. King, age 61, went to be with her lord on March 19, 2023.

She was born January 4, 1962 to Frank E. and Irene E. (Lambert) Whitacre.

She is survived by her husband Stephen King, her son Philip D. Brewer (Daria), 5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews along with one sister Dorene E. Whitacre brothers Raymond L. Whitacre, Kenneth E. Craig (Sally), Ronald D. Craig (Torchy) and James D. Whitacre (Debbie).

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Frank A. Whitacre (Marie) and first husband Stanley D. Brewer.

She was employed by Duke Energy for 20 years. She was a graduate of Ivy Tech College and a 19__ graduate of Waldron High School.

Her passions were her family, grandchildren and her faith in God.
