Shirley M. Gephart, 83, of Shelbyville

Shirley M. Gephart, 83, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Heritage House in Shelbyville.

She was born January 24, 1939, in Shelby County, the daughter of Leslie and Mary E. (Sills) Andrews.  On January 20, 1958, she married her husband on 64 years, Kenneth Gephart, and he survives.

In addition to Kenneth, Shirley is survived by her children, Tammy Carter and husband, Leigh, of Indianapolis, Kevin Gephart and wife, Ginny, of Milroy, and Sandra Farbar of Rushville; sister, Susie Murdock of Aberdeen, Maryland; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Shirley graduated in 1957 from Moral Township High School.

She was a member of Ray’s Crossing Christian Union Church.

Shirley was a caregiver at nursing homes and hospices.

She enjoyed going fishing and traveling.

Shirley loved the time she spent with her grandchildren.

A Celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at a later date.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

Raven and Fox Fauber

Twin brothers, Raven and Fox Fauber, passed away at St. Vincent Womens Hospital in Indianapolis.

They were born on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, in Shelbyville, the sons of Benjamin Charles and Cassandra (Gerbig) Fauber.

Raven passed away on August 25, 2022 at the age of one day.

Fox passed away on August 26, 2022 at the age of two days.

Private family services will be held at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St in Shelbyville.

Dorothy J. Cockerham, 81, of Shelbyville

Dorothy J. Cockerham, 81, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022, at MHP Medical Center in Shelbyville.

She was born November 13, 1940, in Quarrier, West Virginia, the daughter of Elijah Thomas and Monnie Ethel (Carpenter) Russell.  On August 13, 1975, she married her husband of 47 years, Steven Cockerham, and he survives.

In addition to Steve, Dorothy is survived by her son, Kenny Russell of Shelbyville; brother, Glen Russell and wife, Sue, of Eskdale, West Virginia; sisters, Wanda Wood of Charleston, and Jaennette Russell of Hamilton, Ohio; grandchildren, Christy Strate and husband Scott, William White II and Craig Walton and wife, Katy; five great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Elaine Walton; brothers, Frank Russell and Kenneth Russell; and sister, Carol Gay.

Dorothy formerly worked at KCL Corporation for five years. She retired from Brazeway in 1998, with 25 years of service.

She enjoyed going fishing and playing computer games on her ipad.

Dorothy also leaves behind her dogs, Gracie and Daisy.  She was preceded by her dog, Angel.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to Noon, Friday, September 2, 2022, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

Funeral services will follow at Noon on Friday.

Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Joe A. Shurig, 77, of Plainfield, formerly of Shelby County

Joe A. Shurig, 77, of Plainfield, formerly of Shelby County, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at his home.

He was born March 22, 1945, in Princeton, the son of Darwin and Edith (Smith) Shurig.  On January 15, 1968, he married his wife of 55 years, Carol Meyer, and she survives.

In addition to Carol, Joe is survived by his daughter, Susan Mary Shurig of Sahuarita, Arizona; son, Darwin Jay Shurig and wife, Jamie, of Plainfield; brother, John Lewis Shurig and wife, Rose, of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Blakeley Shurig, Cameron Shurig and Lakin Shurig.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Joe graduated in 1963 from Oakland City High School.  He received his Master’s degree in education from Ball State University in 1974, and an Associate’s degree in Health Care Administration from Lockyear Business College.

He was a member of Acton Methodist Church in Indiana, and the Santa Cruz Valley United Methodist Church in Arizona.

Joe began his career in teaching in Evansville, and then taught science for 35 years at Waldron High School.  He also worked in health care at the cardiac lab at Community South Hospital, for 13 years.

He enjoyed playing water volleyball and bocce ball. Joe also enjoyed playing cards and reading.

Joyce Howard Petry, 100

Joyce Howard Petry, 100, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022, at Golden Living Center, Brandywine.

 

She was born November 27, 1921, in Hartzell, Missouri to the late Cornelius and Gladys (Gillespie) Howard. She was a graduate of Carthage High School and married Quentin Petry on December 20, 1941.


Prior to her retirement in 1988, Joyce was the dietary supervisor at Hancock Regional Hospital. Joyce was a long-time member of the Stringtown (New Hope) Nazarene Church. She was an avid quilter, making numerous quilts for family and friends over the years and teaching her daughters to carry on the tradition.


She is survived by her daughters; Karen (Robert) DeRenard, Janis (Roy) Blessinger, Evelyn (Wayne) Sammons, Elaine (Philip) Steele; daughters-in law, Kay Petry and Elizabeth Petry; grandsons, Warren Petry, Scott Petry, Brad Petry, John DeRenard, Roy M. Blessinger, Eric Sammons, Troy Sammons, Gabriel Petry, Alexander Petry, and Q. Elliott Petry; granddaughters, Diane Cameron, April Keffeber, and Susan Spaeth; 31 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren; sister, Sue Reeves, and brother, Manuel Howard.


Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above; husband, Quentin Petry; sons, Dahl Petry, Lowell Petry, Gary Petry, and Harold Petry; grandchildren, Stephen Petry and Heather Petry; siblings, Kip, Bill, Arnold, and Archie Howard and Willa Carrender.


Funeral service with Elizabeth Petry officiating will be 12:00 pm, Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140.

 

Friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial immediately following at Carthage Town Cemetery, Carthage.

Myrna Dee (Hendershott) Cook, 80, of Greenfield

Myrna Dee (Hendershott) Cook, 80, of Greenfield, passed away August 28, 2022, at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Indianapolis.

 

She was born November 9, 1941, in Savannah, Illinois to the late Jacob and Mary (Hart) Hendershott. She is a 1960 graduate of Lawrence Central High School.

Myrna was a member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, The Red Hat Society, the Singles and Agriculture Group and the Fortville VFW and American Legion. Myrna enjoyed training dogs, card games and horses. She worked at AT&T for 40 years before retiring.

She is survived by her loving daughters: Melinda Garner, Melanie (Kenny) Morgan, and Melissa (Wayne) Carmany; sisters, Aleta Woodard, Ruthie Varney, and Maureen Riggs; 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and beloved dog, Zoey.

Myrna is preceded in death by her parents and grandchildren: Jonathan Garner, Chad Allen Garner, and Douglas Polston.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield.

 

The service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Brackney officiating.

Warren "Fred" Frederick Gardner, 88, of Shelbyville

Warren “Fred” Frederick Gardner, 88, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 at his residence.

 

He was born December 10, 1933 in Rush County to Ornie Gardner and Mary Alice (Krammes) Gardner Mahin.

 

Fred served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War Era. He was a member of the American Legion Post 70, VFW Post 2695 and the Shelbyville Elks Club. He worked at the Ford plant in Quality Control before retiring after 40 years of service. Fred attended church as a child with his mom. He was baptized at Lewis Creek Baptist Church when he was an adult. A no frills, organized man that was good at math and could fix anything. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and cutting grass, but his greatest joy came from the time he spent with his family and loved ones.

 

He married Kathy Ann (Lux) Gardner on November 25, 1987 and she survives. They spent 35 wonderful years together.

 

Fred is also survived by son, Douglas Alan Gardner (wife, Susie), daughter, Jane Elynn Godfrey (husband, Chris), step daughter, Lori Aviles, step daughter, Amy Gardner, grandsons; Matthew Alan Gardner (wife, Bekah), David Adam Gardner, Sean Christopher Godfrey, Andrew Kyle Godfrey, Gregory Alan Lindsey, Ryan David Lindsey (wife, Erica), Elsio Andrew Aviles, and granddaughter, Selena Nicole Aviles.

 

Military honors will be conducted by local veteran organizations.

 

Visitation will be Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 9am until 11am at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

 

Funeral services will be at 11am at the funeral home with Rev. Bill Horner officiating.

 

Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens in the Hero’s of Honor and Glory section.

Dennis C. Wicker, Jr., 73, of Shelbyville

Dennis C. Wicker, Jr., 73, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022

at his residence.

 

Born October 6, 1948 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Dennis C. Wicker Sr. and 

Virginia (Mann) Wicker.  

 

Survivors include 3 sisters- Mary Alice Zinman (husband Jim) of Shelbyville, Ann Ogden (husband Mike) of Colorado, and Georgia Wertze (husband Bobby) of Shelbyville.   He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

Mr. Wicker was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Shelbyville High School.  He was a US Air Force veteran.

 

Dennis loved dogs and cats.  He had a daily route for feeding neighborhood animals while in his wheelchair, and he also loved riding his motorcycle.

 

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Rev. David Humphrey officiating. 

 

Burial will be in Fairland Cemetery.

Nathaniel John Musick, 26, of Carmel

Nathaniel John Musick, 26, of Carmel, passed away on August 21, 2022 at his residence.

 

He was born to M Bill Musick and Cynthia Ann (C.Ann) Beard on February 12, 1996 in Indianapolis, IN.

 

Nathaniel was a 2014 graduate of New Palestine High School. He briefly attended USI in Evansville, and then received an Associates Degree in CyberSecurity from IVY Tech, and a Bachelors Degree in CyberSecurity from Western Governor’s University.


Nathaniel served honorably in the 219th Engineer Brigade in the Indiana Army National Guard in Franklin, IN for 6 years as a Geospatial Engineer.


Nathaniel loved hanging out with his family and many friends. He liked running, walking, and weight-lifting.

 

His friends often called him Natty. He enjoyed staying up late with his friends playing video games, and hiking in the parks. He enjoyed traveling and exploring. He loved going out to eat and trying new foods.

 

He loved his dogs, which most recently included Buddy and Bella.


He is survived by his mother and father, his brother, Noah J Musick (Hannah Henshaw), his sister, Anna M Ballenger (Jason), his nephews Braden and Vance Musick, his nieces, Lainey Musick, and Lillian and Grace Ballenger. He has several aunts, uncles, and cousins on both sides of his family.


Nathaniel was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Edward L. Veenhuizen, 85, of Greenfield

Edward L. Veenhuizen, 85, of Greenfield, died Wednesday, August 24, 2022.

Ed was born on December 18, 1936 in Seattle, WA to Pauline (Reilly) and Jake Veenhuizen. He met Sally Hurlbert through 4-H youth activities and they were married in 1956 on August 18th and most recently celebrated 66 wonderful years together.

Ed cherished life with his family and loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ed was dedicated to serving others, especially Purdue University Extension Service, 4-H, International Rotary Club, and St. Michael Catholic Church. Ed was a Hancock County 4-H leader for 25 years. He enjoyed international travel, including places like France, Norway, Africa, Antarctica and many more. Ed was an accomplished agriculturalist and avid gardener. He enjoyed working in his vegetable and flower gardens and raising sheep. For years, Ed and his family traveled throughout the Midwest to show their state and nationally recognized Hampshire sheep.

Ed was an Air Force veteran as an aviation physiologist. He had a rewarding career and retired from Eli Lilly & Company after 35-years as an agricultural scientist, holding several product patents. He enjoyed playing a good game of cribbage, cheering on the Purdue Men’s Football and Basketball teams, and watching the Indianapolis Colts.

Ed is survived by his wife, Sally, their 3 children, Michael (Melissa), Jeffrey (Amy), and Mary Casebere (Ken); his 4 grandchildren Katie, Benjamin, Deklin, and Kelsey; 4 great grandchildren Ellie, Lanie, Dawson, and Morrie; and his beloved cat Bow.

In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his brother, James.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 31, at 11:00 am at St. Michael Catholic Church, Greenfield, along with one hour prior visitation.

 

Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm, August 30, 2022 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main Street, Greenfield.

Rebecca "Becky" Redd, 75, of Shelbyville

Rebecca “Becky” Redd, 75, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at The Heritage House of Shelbyville.

She was born March 16, 1947 in Fairland, Indiana to Locy A. Anderson and Beulah Anderson (McKay). 

Becky retired from The Heritage House as a housekeeper and was also a homemaker.

She enjoyed attending church. She loved to cook and also loved coloring and scrapbooking. Becky also enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. Her favorite times were spent with her family and loved ones.

She married William Redd and he preceded her in death on February 6, 2009. 

Becky is survived by son, Daniel Anderson, daughter, Neeta Johnson (Troy Mays), daughter, Kimberly Shepard, son, Mike Redd (Rachael), son, Francis Redd, 17 grand children, 11 great grandchildren, brother, Albert Leroy Anderson, sister, Rose Stoneking, and sister, Rena Bennett.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Tanzy Rebel, and brother, Virgil Anderson.  

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Brian Joseph Kingery, 36

Brian Joseph Kingery, 36, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022, at his home.

He was born November 16, 1985, in Indianapolis, the son of R. H. Kingery and Diane (Holtz) Hannell.

Brian is survived by his mother, Diane Hannell and husband, Joseph, of Morristown; brothers, John Gray of Greenwood, and Joseph Hannell, of Martinsville; sisters, Jessica Stainbrook and husband, Jay, of Gulf Shores, Alabama, and Jennifer Workman and husband, Gary, of Morristown; nieces and nephews, Nathaniel, Miriana, Kaitlynn, Elieas, Serenity and Myla; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, R.H., his Aunt Jane Holtz, and his grandparents.

Brian graduated in 2004 from Morristown High School.

He was a gifted artist and he loved to draw. 

He was formerly employed as an installer for Hannell Flooring.

A Gathering of Brian’s friends and Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 3 from 2-5 at his parents home in Morristown. The address is 11202 N 200E, Morristown, Indiana 46161.

Richard G. Vinson, 44, of Waldron

Richard G. Vinson, 44, of Waldron, passed away, Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis.

He was born July 30, 1978, in Franklin, the son of Michael and Teresa (Rodgers) Vinson.  On May 15, 2010, he married Rachel Petro, and she survives.

In addition to Rachel, Richard is survived by his parents of Shelbyville; son, Clayton Vinson of Shelbyville; daughters, Lauryn Vinson of Raymondville, Texas, and Riley Vinson of Waldron; brother, Michael Vinson Jr. and wife, Ana, of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Everly Vinson and Aubrey Vinson; mother-in-law, Sandy Petro of Edinburgh; father-in-law, Jim Petro and wife, Angie, of Edinburgh.

Richard graduated in 1997 from Shelbyville High School.

He had worked as a CNC technician at PKUSA, for the last 16 years.

Richard enjoyed going fishing and camping.  He also enjoyed working on vehicles.

He loved his family and enjoyed making memories with them.

Charles "Bernie" Dean, 83, of Fairland

Charles “Bernie” Dean, 83, of Fairland, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.


He was born November 7, 1938, in Morganfield, Kentucky, the son of Charles Oscar and Nettie Irene (House) Dean.  On September 20, 1958, he married the love of his life, Rosemary “Rosie” Hogan, and she preceded him in death on May 20, 2016.

Bernie is survived by his daughter, Melinda Pennycuff and husband, Paul, of Shelbyville; granddaughter, Jennifer Dean; great-granddaughter, Justice Dean Meal; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to Rosie, Bernie was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Michael Dean and Mark Dean; three sisters, Mildred "Edith" Dean, Naomi Ruth Dean and Betty Jean (Dean) Payetta; and two brothers, William Franklin Dean and Robert Darrell Dean.

Bernie graduated in 1957 from Manual High School in Indianapolis.  After high school he attended IUPUI, studying blueprint reading, accounting and electrical wiring.

He formerly worked at Commercial Towel and Plymate Incorporated. Since 1985, Bernie and Rosie had co-owned and operated Dean’s Dry Cleaning and Laundry and in 1997, his daughter, Melinda, joined the family business and worked alongside with Bernie. In addition to his daughter, Bernie's granddaughter, Jennifer also joined to help work and operate the family business.

Bernie was a former member of the Exchange Club and often donated to the Shelbyville Animal Shelter to support the homeless animals of Shelby County.

Bernie was not only blessed with his biological family but he also had an extended family of friends and a staff of employees that he loved and considered his 'work family'. He enjoyed life to it's fullest, often fishing in various spots of the U.S. but sharing a particular fondness for Canada. He travelled the world with his wife and especially enjoyed trips to Las Vegas. Always quick with a joke and a willingness to help others, Bernie lived an amazing life and hoped others would have a life as wonderful as his journey.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at the funeral home, with Rev. Bill Horner officiating.

Dee Ann Bond, 75, of Noblesville

Dee Ann Bond, 75, of Noblesville, passed away on August 20, 2022. Dee was a part of the ”Baby Boom” after World War II and was born on March 13, 1947 to Dean & Ruth Benjamin of Monticello, Indiana.

 

After she graduated from Twin Lakes High School, Dee went on to study Marketing at Indiana University, Bloomington. At IU, she was involved in IU radio, debate team, drama and graduated with honors.

After completing her bachelor’s degree at IU, she worked as a Development Director for non-profit organizations including The Red Cross and United Way and then went on to become the Executive Director of a local YWCA and Women’s Shelter, helping support women seeking to escape domestic violence. She also taught Marketing at the University of Indianapolis. Dee was an advocate for women’s rights, had a passion for education and focused her career on helping the less fortunate.
In November of 1989, Dee launched Dee Ann Bond & Associates (The Stevens Agency) her own Public Relations & Advertising firm on Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis.

Dee married Robert Bond in 1978 and lived in the (Acton) Indianapolis area for many years. During that time, they enjoyed traveling and the friendships they made there. Later in life, they relocated to Noblesville, Indiana where Dee was an active member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, an international organization supporting women’s education. Dee was a beautiful, intelligent, successful woman who loved her family.

Dee is survived by her husband, Robert Bond, two daughters; Holly McGuire (Dan McGuire) & Heidi Raymond (Charlie Raymond) and grandchildren; Hudson McGuire, Jett McGuire, Ryley Studer, Reese Studer and Finley Mitchell.

A celebration of life Open House will be held on Saturday, October 1st from 2pm – 4pm at Nesst of Noblesville (917 Conner Street).

Ralph "Tyler" Wyatt, 82 of Greenfield

Ralph "Tyler" Wyatt, 82 of Greenfield, IN passed away on August 20, 2022. He was born to the late Clarence and Marjorie (Lindamood) Wyatt in Cory, IN on November 17, 1939.


Tyler enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved animals, food and especially popcorn. He was a member of the Cumberland Christian Church.
In addition to his parents, Tyler was preceded in death by his brother, Clarence R. Wyatt and his brother in law, John Davis.


Tyler is survived by his sisters, Arletta "Rosie" Wyatt and Sherry Davis; sister in law, Alice Wyatt; 2 nieces, Cynthia Davis and Stacy Wyatt; 2 nephews, John Jr. (Cathy) Davis and Mike (Shelly) Wyatt; great niece, Nikki (Nathan) Gee.

Patricia Ann Walton, 65, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022 at

MHP Medical Center.

 

Born July 29, 1957 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Delmar F. Walton, Sr. and

Carolyn Sue (Comstock) Walton.

 

Survivors include 2 brothers- Delmar F. Walton III of Shelbyville, Bryan McKay of Shelbyville; 6 sisters- Marsha Foreman of Shelbyville, Annette Walton of Indianapolis, Susie Cass of Shelbyville, Janet Ewick (husband Mike) of Shelbyville, Jeannette Yates of Alabama, and Debbie Walton of Shelbyville.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including David Cass, Melissa Cass, Ashley Ewick, Nevaeh Cass, Tabatha Cass, Spencer Lockridge, Abigail Lockridge,

and Josh Lockridge.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Delmar Walton Jr., sister Pat Fields, 4 aunts, and one uncle.

 

Ms. Walton was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1978.  She was employed at Shares Inc. for 36 years, and attended church at Salvation Army.

 

Patricia enjoyed watching game shows, Steve Harvey, and Big Brother on TV, shopping, and attending Shares Inc. functions and outings.

 

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on   Monday, August 29, 2022 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor David Gooding officiating.  Friends may call on Monday morning from 11:00 am until the time of the service, at the funeral home.

Ralph Edward Fisher, 95, of Fairland

Ralph Edward Fisher, 95, of Fairland, passed away, Friday, August 19, 2022, at Waldron Health and Rehab in Waldron.

He was born September 2, 1926, in Acton, the son of George Austin and Ollie Bernice (Maze) Fisher.  On June 26, 1947, he married his wife of 75 years, Bertha Louise Mullen, and she survives.

In addition to Bertha, Ralph is survived by his daughters, Michaelynn Trimble and husband, Jerry, and Janet Stucker, both of Fairland; sons, Mark Fisher and wife, Beverly, of  Shelbyville, and David Fisher and wife, Michelle, of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Barbara Fisher of Fountaintown, and Louise Mullen of Fairland; brothers-in-law, Harold Mullen and wife, Madelyn, and Russell Schofner, both of Shelbyville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Joe Allen Stucker Jr.; sisters, Marian Settles, Alma Coy and Carolyn Glackman; and brothers, Wayne Fisher and Melvin “Bud” Fisher.

Ralph graduated in 1944 from Fairland High School.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Ralph was an over the road truck driver for Sims Motor in Chicago, retiring in 1983.

He was a member of the American Legion and the Teamster Union.

Ralph enjoyed going fishing and tinkering with anything that was in need of repair.

Blair J. "Pooh" Erwin, 43, of Shelbyville

Blair J. “Pooh” Erwin, 43, of Shelbyville, passed away, Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis.

He was born February 5, 1979, in Indianapolis, the son of Stan and Karla Erwin.  On February 25, 2010, he married Roberta “Berta” Luvern Merrick, and she survives.

Blair is survived by his wife of Shelbyville; children, Zachary Burchett and wife, Shelbi, Cheyenne Burchett, Quientin Burchett, Elizabeth Erwin and Haley VanCleave, all of Shelbyville, and Noah Erwin of Indianapolis; brother, Mak Erwin and wife, Christina, of Lafayette; grandchildren, Rae, Izaac, Channing, Kye-Kye, Lilly, Zane, Kade, Avery and Myah; and mother-in-law, Brenda Nolley and husband, Roger, of St. Omer.

He was preceded in death by his Grandma Lollie.

Blair graduated in 1997 from Triton Central High School, he continued his education at Vincennes University, where he received a degree in Horticulture.

He had formerly worked at Plymates, for over 10 years.

Blair enjoyed landscaping.  He also enjoyed playing video games, going golfing and watching the Chicago Cubs and Anime.

He loved family time and enjoyed creating lasting memories.

Blair leaves behind his dog, Diesel and cat, Mei.  He was preceded by his dogs, Dasha and Keiba.

Boyd “Terry” Fee, 66, of Indianapolis,  passed away on August 11, 2022. He was born the youngest of 12 siblings to the late Taylor and Clara (McWhorter) Fee on April 8,1956 in London KY.

He enjoyed attending church at Westwood and was a very giving and caring person. He liked listening to music and records, reading his Bible and enjoying a good plate of food.

Charlotte A. Nay, 75, of Edinburgh, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.

She was born December 2, 1946, in Columbus, the daughter of Paul and Odetta M. (Mohr) Nay.

Charlotte is survived by her sister, Karen Nay of Edinburgh; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Charlotte graduated in 1965 from Southwestern High School.

She was a member of Mount Auburn Christian Church.

Charlotte had formerly worked Ranch and Western Supermarkets and the Edinburgh Premium Outlet Mall, retiring in 2008.

She enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana University Basketball.

Charlotte also enjoyed listening to gospel and country music and watching old westerns on television.

Kayla Diann Reynolds, 30, of Carthage, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Rush Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

She was born August 4, 1992, in Franklin, the daughter of Brian Bray and Diann Parsley.  On May 1, 2014, she married Zachary Reynolds, and he survives.

In addition to Zachary, Kayla is survived by her father of  Franklin; mother of Nokomis, Florida; children, Dash Reynolds of Carthage, and Avalee Reynolds and Maylin Reynolds, both of Bargersville; sister, Savanna Dickey of Nokomis; brother, Brian “Kenny” Bray of Bradenton; maternal grandmother, Margaret Parsley of Sarasota; paternal grandparents, Glendal and Mary Bray of Grand Rivers, Kentucky; father-in-law, Gary Reynolds and wife, Diane, of Richmond; mother-in-law, Karen Mackey and husband, Steve, of Carthage; brother-in-law, William Reynolds and wife, Shellee, of Milton; sisters-in-law, Danielle Chavarria and husband, Alonso, of Beaufort, South Carolina, and Chelsea Kunkel and husband, Matt, of Barboursville, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

Kayla graduated in 2011 from Franklin Community High School.

Marjorie Ellen Ostermeier (nee Tongret) of Wheaton, Illinois

Marjorie Ellen Ostermeier (nee Tongret) of Wheaton, Illinois, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2022, eleven years to the day after her husband, Raymond.

 

She was 101 years and 8 months old and was surrounded by people who adore her. Born to Anne and Bland Tongret in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1921, she married the president of her high school class and love of her life, Ray, shortly after the unexpected death of her father in 1941. They have three devoted children, Robert, Janet and Maurice, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Raised on Brandywine Dairy Farm near Carrollton, Indiana with her two sisters (Betty and Virginia) and brother (Charles), she was no stranger to working with her hands, wrapping butter in waxed paper, snapping beans, harvesting cherries, and canning tomatoes with her mother and daughter. She continued gardening on Webster Avenue in Wheaton into her 90’s.

She inherited her father’s artistic abilities demonstrated by her wool hooked rugs, patchwork quilts and handmade garments. She never met a scrap of paper she did not keep, or a swatch of fabric she could not reuse. She was an avid reader, a Cubs fan (TV on, sound off and radio on), a lover of puzzles, and dominos every day at 1 PM with her friends.

She loved fiercely and is loved by everyone she met. Active members of Gary United Methodist Church, Wheaton, since 1964, Marge and Ray were committed to service as they volunteered at the Wesley Shoppe and participated in church leadership.

She is preceded in death by so many. She leaves behind children Robert Ostermeier (Linda), Maurice Ostermeier (Kathy), Janet Ostermeier; grandchildren Cindy Hooker (Fred), Jennifer Ostermeier (Samir), Kendra Singelais (Robert II), Mackenzie and David Ostermeier; great grandchildren Anna Hooker, Jonah and Aida Oufkir, Brianna and Leo Singelais; great-great grandchild Ellianna Singelais.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 27 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 19 E. Main St., New Palestine, IN, with visitation from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.

Robert Harold “Bob” Singleton, Jr., 69, of Manilla, passed away, Sunday, August 7, 2022, at his home.

He was born June 15, 1953, in Coldwater, Michigan, the son of Robert Harold Singleton and Mary Louise (Allison) Sweet.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Sue Chay and husband, Juan, of Acworth, Georgia; granddaughters, Gabrielle Chay and Ashley MacAllister; sister-in-law, and Carol Singleton of Shelbyville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Steve Singleton.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam.

Bob loved cars.  He enjoyed working on cars, going to car shows and street racing.  Bob also enjoyed motorcycles.

He loved and leaves behind his dog, Baby.

In addition to David, Brenda is survived by her mother of Shelbyville; children, Beth, Leslie and Rob; brother, David Sturgill and wife, Tammy, of Shelbyville; sister, Patricia Houck and husband, Thomas, of Toledo, Ohio; grandchildren, Memphis Shonk and Mazzey Starr Wolfe; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Brenda graduated in 1981 from Shelbyville High School.

She had formerly worked at Subway for 14 years.

Brenda enjoyed making crafts and going to flea markets.

She also leaves behind her dog, Nala.

Arthur Stanley "Mike" Roberts Jr., 76, of Shelbyville

Arthur Stanley “Mike” Roberts Jr., 76, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022, at his home.

He was born January 21, 1946, in Indianapolis, the son of Arthur Stanley and Rosemary (Morris) Roberts.  On July 2, 1994, he married Delva Jean Heavilon, and she survives.

In addition to Delva, Mike is survived by his daughter, Holly Roberts of Nashua, New Hampshire; son, Trae Roberts and wife, Jennifer, of Indianapolis; step-daughter, Brooke Ballagh of Indianapolis; brothers, Dr. Jon Roberts of Columbus, and Joseph Roberts and wife, Mary Kay, of Oldenburg; sisters, Dr. Leslie Rubin and husband, Dr. Mike Rubin, of Indianapolis, and Shelley Lukemeyer and husband, George II, of Syracuse; grandchildren, Lucia Templeton, Bridget Templeton, Madison Ballagh and Ryder Roberts; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and step-son, Dean Templeton.

Mike graduated in 1963 from Shelbyville High School.  He continued his education at Earlham College and graduated in 1970 from Indiana University School of Dentistry.  Mike obtained masters in pain management from both, the University of Oxford in Oxford, England and Edinburgh University in Edinburgh, Scotland, and from the University of Antiqua he received his MD.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as a Captain in Vietnam and rose to the rank of Major.  Later he served in the U.S. Navy as Lt. Commander.

Mike was a member of the Second Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

He was a dentist and a pain management doctor.  Mike operated Indiana Craniofacial Center.

Mike was a member of the New Palestine Masonic Lodge No. 404 F&AM, the American Academy of Oral Medicine and the American Academy of Pain Management.

He enjoyed being a pilot, riding motorcycles and going skiing, scuba diving and sailing.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

Dorothy Darlene Parsley, 74, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022

at MHP Medical Center.

 

Born January 28, 1948 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Leonard Griffith 

and Edna E. (Ratekin) Griffith.  She married Peedie A. Parsley and he preceded 

her on May 17, 1992.

 

Survivors include a son Kyle Parsley (wife Kelly) of Waldron; 2 sisters- Sandra Hobbs (husband George) of Shelbyville, Elizabeth Callaway of Shelbyville; 3 grandchildren- Kalib Parsley, Konner Parsley, and Kiley Parsley.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, brothers- David Griffith, Thomas Griffith, Harold Griffith, Edward Griffith, Jay Griffith; and a sister Barbara Barrett.

 

Mrs. Parsley was a lifelong resident of this area, and attended Shelbyville High School.

 

She had been a factory worker at Admiral Corp. for 10 years, and KCL Corp. for 24 years.

 

She had also worked in the grocery dept at Wal Mart for 10 years.

 

Dorothy enjoyed attending her grandchildren's functions and ball games, and the time she could spend with them.

Aaron Michael Dingman, 40, of Hope

Aaron Michael Dingman, 40, of Hope, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022

at his residence.

 

Born August 9, 1981 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Timothy Dingman and

Ruthann (Crosby) Dingman.

 

Survivors include his father Timothy Dingman of Shelbyville, his mother Ruthann

Dingman of Hope; grandparents Richard & Mary Dingman of Shelbyville; daughter

Makayla Dingman of Connersville; brother Weston Dingman of Shelbyville; sister

Hannah Groves (husband Kyle) of Edinburgh; nephew Keaton Groves; and he was 

looking forward to the soon arrival of his first grandchild Atlas Evans.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Noelgene & Ethel Crosby.

 

Mr. Dingman had lived in this area his entire lifetime and graduated from Hauser

High School in 1999.

 

Aaron enjoyed attending tractor pulls and stock car races, working on cars, helping his grandfather farm, mowing grass, and tinkering in his garage.  He loved his two dogs, Buster and Harley. 

 

Aaron had a heart of gold, and would do anything for anyone.  He  would drop whatever he was doing to go help someone in need.

 

Funeral services will be 10:00 am on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road.   

 

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Dustin Lee Jackson, 36, of Edinburgh

Dustin Lee Jackson, 36, of Edinburgh, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022.

 

He was born September 25, 1985 in Franklin, Indiana to Tony Jackson and Kimberly (Curry) Jackson. 

 

Dustin attended Southwestern High School.

 

He worked in construction and was a certified welder.

 

Dustin loved playing video games and listening to music. He also had a love for art which could be seen with his many tattoos. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family.

 

Dustin is survived by his daughters, Kennedy Jackson, and Delaney Jackson, son, Drake Jackson, brother, Brandon Jackson (Elizabeth), sister, Brooke Kramer (Adam), several nieces and nephews, and his paternal grandparents, Lester and Reva Jackson.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Allen and Rita Curry, aunt, Tammy Shelton, and his beloved brother dog, Silas.

 

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 10am until noon at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

 

Funeral services will follow at noon, at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Davis officiating.

Nancy Jean Esters, 76, of Fairland

Nancy Jean Esters, 76, of Fairland, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022 at her residence. 

 

Born June 23, 1946 in Greensburg, she was the daughter of John F. Durbin and Virginia (Turner) Durbin. 

 

She married Richard "Dick" Esters on October 28, 1967, and he preceded her on March 26, 2007.

 

Survivors include 2 children- Coreena "Corey" Esters (husband Ross P. Hughes) of Charlestown Indiana, Richard "Rich" Esters Jr. (wife Leanna) of Frankton; 5 siblings- John R. Durbin (wife Sharon) of Indianapolis, James L. Durbin (wife Carol) of Nevada, Missouri, Les W. Durbin of Indianapolis, Alice Meyer (fiance Terrance Elvania) of Shelbyville, Deanna Thurston (husband Charles) of Shelbyville; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members; 2 grandchildren- Mathew Esters of Frankton, and David Esters of Frankton.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her spouse.

 

Mrs. Esters was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Waldron High School in 1964.  She was co-owner and bookkeeper of Esters, Inc. from 1967 until the present time. 

 

She was a member of Waldron United Methodist Church and Fairland United Methodist Church, chair person for Nurture Committee at Fairland United Methodist Church, Treasurer of the Evening Circle Ladies Group, along with several other offices she held. 

 

Nancy loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed traveling, and traveled extensively over the last several years.  Her favorite trip was to Ireland, and in recent trips she really enjoyed walking the shores of Lake Michigan, rock hounding and beach glass hunting.  She enjoyed helping others and was involved in church and Senior Center activities, and delivering Meals On Wheels.

 

Funeral services will be 10:00 am on  Friday, August 5, at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastors James Moore and Jolita Erbele officiating. 

 

Burial will be in Fairland Cemetery. 

 

Friends may call on Thursday evening, August 4, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at the funeral home.

Cliff "Buddy" Land, 89, of Shelbyville

Cliff "Buddy" Land, 89, of Shelbyville, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 29, 2022 at his residence.

 

Born February 23, 1933 in Flat Rock, Indiana, he was the son of Clifford and Julia (Warner) Land Treon.

 

Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, niece Cathy (Hendershot) Fish, nephew Den Hendershot, and brother-in-law Mac McDaniel. Cliff graduated from Flat Rock High School in 1952. He married Sharon (Calhoun) Basey in 1959 and she survives, they were married for 27 years. Cliff is also survived by their four beloved children; David Land, Amy (Land) Wilson; James Land (fiance Cathy Adkins Harmon); and Melissa (Land) Bostic. Cliff also leaves behind 9 grandchildren,11 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Cliff is also survived by 3 sisters: Barbara McDaniel  of Greenwood, Gail Hendershot of Nashville, Teri Treon of Columbus, and one brother, Charlie Land of Flat Rock, IN.

 

Following high school, Cliff joined the U.S. Navy and Indiana National Guard. He was aboard the USS BRIAREUS-AR-12. then moved to the USS ROSSDD563 Destroyer until 1956. The USS ROSS went on an around-the-world-cruise in 1954. He said he loved it and got to see the world. Prior to this, the USS Ross DD563 Destroyer had earned 5 battle stars in WW II. 

 

Following the Navy, Cliff worked at the Ford Motor Company. After retirement he obtained his real estate license.

 

He enjoyed many things over the years. He loved playing basketball and baseball, coaching youth baseball, trail riding on his horses and mules, motorcycle riding, traveling in his motorhome, working on cars and trucks, watching the Pacers and Colts and watching the series Survivor and old westerns. Cliff loved to mow his lawn as well as his neighbors.

 

Spending time with his friends, children and grandchildren was something he could never get enough of. He cared about loved ones more than himself. He was always there when anyone needed anything at all, and even if they didn't. He leaves behind his loving cat "Kitty" and many loved ones and dear friends. 

 

Cliff requested no funeral upon his passing.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Flat Rock Christian Church, 2700 W. Pope St, Flat Rock, IN, on Saturday, August 13, 2022  from 1:00 pm until  4:00 pm.

 

Military rites will be observed at 3:00pm at the church. Burial will be in Patterson Cemetery.

Zula Faye Wilkerson, 72, of Shelbyville

Zula Faye Wilkerson, 72, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday,  July 29, 2022 in her home.

 

She was born April 9, 1950, to Claude Smothers and Mary (Elliott) Smothers in Shelbyville.

 

Faye married James D. Wilkerson on March 1, 1969, and he survives. They spent 53 wonderful years together.

 

She is also survived by her children, James Wilkerson II, Jeff Wilkerson (Angel), Brian Wilkerson (Erica), Robert Wilkerson, grandchildren, Brittany Wilkerson, Austin Wilkerson, Dillon Wilkerson, Jimmy Wilkerson, Amithyst Wilkerson, Mekayla Hammonds, Morgan Wilkerson, Logan Wilkerson, Austin Hammonds, Keegan Wilkerson, 11 great-grandchildren, her siblings, Judy (Bob) Smith, May (Odie) Comstock, Peggy (Gary) Milner, Chrissy (Todd) Leffler, Ronnie (Mary) Smothers, Scotty (Kim) Smothers, Ricky Smothers, several nieces and nephews, and a special nephew, Larry Smothers.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Mike Smothers, and Bobby Smothers, and also her sisters, Linda Dyer and Dolly Smothers. 

 

Faye attended Shelbyville High School. She lived in Shelbyville her whole life and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #766, and was a part of the Auxiliary for the Fraternal Order of Police #74.  Faye loved playing bingo and singing karaoke, but most of all, loved her family and friends, especially her four boys. 

 

Visitation will be Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 12pm to 3pm at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

 

Funeral services will follow at the funeral home with the Rev. Greg Albert officiating.

Pearl Irene (Elliott) Roberts, 72, Greenfield

Pearl Irene (Elliott) Roberts, 72, Greenfield, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022. She was born on August 18, 1949, in Shelbyville, IN, to Harry P. and Dorothy (Jeffries) Elliott.

 

She married James C. Roberts, Jr. on December 4, 1967.

Pearl was a tremendously loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend to all who knew her and will be sadly missed. Pearl worked as a housecleaner for many years before becoming the librarian for Mount Vernon Township from 1979-1987. After the library, Pearl worked as a dietician for the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office from 1987-1990. She retired a happy housewife. Pearl attended Fortville United Methodist Church, McCordsville United Methodist Church, and Brown’s Chapel Wesleyan Church.

 

Pearl and her husband were both members of Good Sam’s Camping Club #72. She loved to sew and craft and have get-togethers with her lady friends’ self-proclaimed neighborhood association, the Cooper’s Corner’s Crowd. She also loved cats and dogs. But above all, Pearl enjoyed time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Pearl is survived by her children, James (Christi) Roberts III and Janice Roberts (Dave Scheidt); 5 grandchildren: Ellie (Noah) Clark, Trenton Roberts, Emmalyn Roberts, Camden Yost, and Kinley Yost; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy (George) Lockett; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 52 years, James Roberts, Jr.; and sister, Marilyn Elliott.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield.

 

The funeral service will be held the following morning at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m.

 

Burial will be in Park Cemetery.

Calvin Coolidge Gray, 94, of Shirley

Calvin Coolidge Gray, 94, of Shirley, passed away peacefully July 31, 2022, at Greenfield Healthcare.

 

He was born September 1, 1927, in Tiff City, Missouri to the late Ora and Florence (Darnell) Gray. He married Claudine Hanna on December 1, 1949.


He spent his working career at Allison’s Transmissions for 30 years and Gas America Corporation after his retirement for 25 years.

Calvin had impeccable Christian values and instilled those values in his children and grandchildren. Together, Calvin and Claudine took many other children to church and Sunday School to ensure they too had the opportunity to learn about Jesus.

He is survived by his children, C.K. “Bud” (Jeannine) Gray, Cheryl (Tom) King, Carla (Mick) Ireton; sister-in-law; Mary Helen Ritan; daughter in law, Crystal Gray; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Calvin is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Claudine; infant son, Jeff; son, Stephen Gray.

Clarence "Wayne" Leach, 86, of Flat Rock

Clarence “Wayne” Leach, 86, of Flat Rock, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at The Heritage House of Shelbyville.

 

He was born May 21, 1936, to Samuel Leach and Myrtle (Clemens) Leach.

 

He married Nora Ann (Bush) Leach, on May 22, 1965, and she survives. They shared 57 wonderful years of marriage.

 

Wayne is also survived by his daughter, Ann Leach, son, Brian Leach (Terri), grand children, Cleston, Tabitha, Isaiah, Mekeilia, Javin, Issac, 10 great-grand children, and sister, Ruth Foltz.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers.

 

Wayne attended New Palestine High School.

 

He was a member of Flat Rock Christian Church. He was a hard working man and worked his whole life between Tennel’s Auto and Shelby County Highway Department.

 

Graveside service will be at 11am, Thursday, August  25, 2022 in Flat Rock Cemetery, 2507 W. Bartholomew St, Flat Rock, IN, 47234.

John D. Williams Jr., 57, of Shelbyville

John D. Williams Jr., 57, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022 at his home.

 

He was born April 17, 1965, to John D. Williams Sr. and Norma Jean (Baker) Williams.

 

He married Belinda G. (Nevitt) Williams on June 11, 1988 and she survives.

 

John is also survived by his sister, Judy Mica, several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

 

He is preceeded in death by his parents, sister, Kay Merchant, brother, Joe Williams, sister, Ruthie Payne and a niece.

 

John attended Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, Texas.

 

He was a member of Crossroad Community Church and the Eagles Lodge No. 766.

 

John loved to go fishing and being outdoors. He enjoyed eating seafood and watching the Colts play football. He also enjoyed watching westerns; his favorites were the ones with John Wayne.

 

Visitation will be held from 10am until noon Friday, August 5, 2022 at Crossroad Community Church, 475 E. Progress Pkwy. Shelbyville, IN. 46176.

Kathleen Viola "Kathy" Beckham, 72, of Shelbyville

Kathleen Viola “Kathy” Beckham, 72, of Shelbyville, passed away, Friday, July 29, 2022, at Reid Hospital in Richmond.

She was born December 25, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of William “Billy” and Eileen (Bradford) Newland.  On April 4, 1986, she married Todd Warren Beckham, and he preceded her in death on August 31, 2006.

Kathy is survived by her children, Amy Cooper and Chrissy Swart, both of Ohio, Anthony “Tony” Beckham and wife, Stephanie, Cathy Martin, both of Shelbyville and Zachary Martin, of Dayton, Ohio; step-daughter, Julie Beckham-Fleming and husband, Geno, of Crittenden, Kentucky; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to Todd, Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; step-son, Todd Beckham; and brother, William “Billy” Newland.

Kathy was formerly of Ohio and had worked as a waitress at O’Charleys at Eastgate, for over 15 years.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
