Columbus East got by Shelbyville by eight strokes in varsity golf play Monday, 176-184.
Shelbyville was led by Nolen Chaney's 42, which earned him co-Medalist with Columbus East golfers Cole Schaefer and Kody Reynolds.
SHS's Matthew Bunton shot a 46; Eli Baker 47; Ethan Apsley 49.
The Golden Bears are back in action on Thursday, April 15, when they travel to The Legends Golf Club to take on #13 Franklin.
