Triton Central golf found itself finishing third to a pair of Indianapolis-based schools Monday at Maple Creek Golf Course.

Cathedral secured a 29-shot victory over Heritage Christian, 160-189. The Tigers followed at 201.

Oliver Gearlds led Triton Central with a 41. Evan Uhls (52), Maxwell Ray (53) and Griffin Sego (55) completed the Tigers’ scorecard.

On Friday, Triton Central defeated Southwestern, 200-245, at Hawk’s Tail Golf Course.

Gearlds was the match medalist with a 41. Uhls shot 44 followed by Sego’s 53 and Ray’s 63.

Ty Burcham topped Southwestern with a 53. Completing the scorecard were Caleb Pappano (60), Tristan Pappano (63), and Justin Swift (64).

Triton Central takes on Whiteland Wednesday at The Legends Golf Club.

The Shelby County Tournament is Saturday at Timbergate Golf Course.
