Two days removed from winning the Indiana Crossroads Conference Tournament, Triton Central’s tennis team pinned a loss on an ICC foe.
The Tigers swept Beech Grove Monday, 5-0.
Brooklyn Schiffli defeated Paige Lamar at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
At No. 2 singles, Julia Sanders cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Jeda Howard.
And Lelia Chougule completed the singles matches sweep with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Randi Underwood at No. 3 singles.
Emma Hutchinson and Alyssa Wheatley combined to defeat Kristen Lamb and Madison Stratton at No. 1 doubles, 6-1, 6-2.
Tori Ramsey and Sarah Williams finished strong defeating Kaleah Estep and Shelby Howard at No. 2 doubles, 6-4, 6-0.
The Tigers improved to 7-0 this season.
In junior varsity matches, Courtney Washburn and Jazmine Castillo were victorious for Triton Central. Washburn and Castillo also teamed up to claim a doubles victory.
