Unbeaten Triton Central will have the long road to get to a tennis sectional championship this week.

The Tigers will open the Shelbyville Tennis Sectional Wednesday against Southwestern. The winner will face Morristown Thursday.

In the other sectional semifinal match Thursday, the host Golden Bears will face Waldron.

The sectional championship match is scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday at Shelbyville High School.

The winner of the Shelbyville Sectional will face the winner of the Franklin Central Sectional on May 25 at Center Grove High School. The Franklin Central Sectional includes the host Flashes, Indianapolis Lutheran, Roncalli and Beech Grove.

The other regional semifinal pits the Center Grove Sectional champion against the Southport Sectional champion.
