Waldron's Hudnall, Morristown's Whitney named to All-MHC Softball squad

Hauser’s dominant season on the softball diamond helped land five Jets on the All-Mid-Hoosier Conference Softball squad.

 

Page McDaniel, Kyra Meister, Zoee Nading, Danielle Steward and Hannah Taylor represent Hauser on the All-MHC team.

 

Morristown’s Kristen Whitney and Waldron’s Madalyn Hudnall were Shelby County’s lone representatives.

 

Also selected to the 16-member team were North Decatur’s Haley Arthur, Keisha Crosland and Kalyn Muckerheide, Edinburgh’s Kaitlyn Bailey, MacKenzie Bieker, Gracie Crawhorn and Kyah Streeval, and South Decatur’s Eryn Dyer and Loryn Pate.

 

Hauser’s Andy Brunner was named Coach of the Year after leading the Jets to a 9-1 conference record.

 

North Decatur was MHC runner-up at 8-2.

 

Six more players were named Honorable Mention.

 

They were Waldron’s Molly Benson and Amanda Brinson, Edinburgh’s Carly Cowan, North Decatur’s Kacie Ogden, Morristown’s Kaylin Waltz, and Edinburgh’s Mackenzie Whetstine.
