The Marian University men’s basketball team’s eight-game winning streak came to an end Tuesday at No. 25-ranked St. Francis (Ind.), 70-63.
Hayden Langkabel, a Morristown graduate, scored eight points and had two rebounds, two steals and one blocked shot for Marian, now 12-3 and 4-3 in Crossroads League contests.
The Knights won their eighth-straight game Saturday, 87-69 over Huntington. Langkabel had 16 points, two rebounds and two assists.

Drake Moore
The Morristown graduate had two points and one steal Saturday for York College in a 73-56 conference win over Tabor.
On Monday, Moore was scoreless in four minutes of action for York in a 77-64 win at Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas.
York, with its third-straight win, improved to 7-11 this season.
Maya Chandler
The Triton Central graduate had two points, two rebounds and one steal Sunday in Loyola’s 58-54 loss to the University of Northern Iowa.
The loss dropped the Ramblers to 9-6 this season and 1-3 against Missouri Valley Conference foes.
On Friday, Chandler finished with 16 points, three rebounds and one assist in a 63-46 conference win over Drake.
Riley Stephens
The Triton Central graduate had five points and one rebound Sunday for the University of Evansville in an 87-68 loss to Illinois State.
The loss evened the Purple Aces’ record at 7-7 this season and 1-2 in the MVC.
On Friday, Stephens was held scoreless in four minutes of playing time for the Purple Aces in a 74-73 win over Bradley.
