Shelby County Cubs win USSSA Class A Midwest Super Regional

Shelby County Cubs Black, a locally-based 9-and-under baseball team, recently won the USSSA Class A Midwest Super Regional Tournament in Edinburgh, Indiana.

Played April 23-24, the Cubs finished 5-0 on the weekend. In the championship game, they defeated Center Grove Trojans White, 8-0.

The Cubs have played three tournaments in April and are 8-2-1.

The Cubs want to thank all the parents, family members, friends and volunteers for their support and recognize Mark Tackett and Shelby County Babe Ruth Baseball, Kyle Dixon, Adam Frazier, and Shelbyville Central Schools for their collective effort and support for the Shelby County Cubs baseball program.
