Shelbyville senior selected to play in Alliance Fastpitch All-Star Game

Shelbyville High School senior Karissa Hamilton has been selected to participate in the second annual Alliance Fastpitch All-Star Game.

Alliance Fastpitch recently announced its “Final Forty” that were selected for the All-Star Game being held July 24 at 7 p.m. at Kokomo Municipal Stadium in Kokomo, Indiana, in conjunction with the 16U and 18U Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series.

The game will be televised live on ESPNU.

 

 

Hamilton, a top catcher in the Class of 2022, is committed to play collegiately at the University of Kentucky. She is currently hitting .509 with six home runs, 20 runs batted in and 33 runs scored for the Class 4A, No. 10-ranked Golden Bears.

Hamilton is one of three Hoosiers selected to participate.

Munster’s Paige Vukadinovich, an outfielder, committed to Georgia Tech and Evansville’s Jackie Lis, a middle infielder, committed to Southern Illinois Carbondale also were selected.

California led the way with 12 selections. Texas had 10.
