Jones pitched the final two innings and did not allow a run.

A Jonah DeArmitt run-scoring single in the bottom of the first inning gave the Spartans a 1-0 lead.

Triton Central tied the game in the third inning when a Hayden May groundout plated Avynn Whitaker.

The Tigers took the lead in the fourth inning on a wild pitch.

A three-run fifth inning turned out to be the difference in the outcome. Avram Rund was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to make it 3-1. Matt Shircliff followed with a run-scoring single and another wild pitch made it 5-1.
